SCIENCE

From scientific knowledge
to personalized decisions.

Connecting nutrition, biology and computational intelligence to understand individual differences — and make scientific knowledge usable.

1. OUR SCIENTIFIC APPROACH

Understand the person.
Connect the evidence.

Personalization starts with understanding how biology, nutrition and everyday life interact. Touva brings these dimensions into a shared computational framework.

Biology & clinical context

Metabolic health, immune profiles and individual biological characteristics.

Microbiome & multi-omics

Connecting microbial composition, function and metabolites.

Nutrition & lifestyle

Dietary patterns, preferences and the context of everyday choices.

2. COMPUTATIONAL NUTRITION

From connected data
to actionable intelligence.

The Computational Nutrition Core brings scientific knowledge, AI and mechanistic models together to support personalized nutrition decisions.

  1. Scientific knowledge & data

    Bring complementary sources into context.

  2. Computational models

    Explore relationships and generate predictions.

  3. Personalized guidance

    Translate intelligence into relevant experiences.

3. RESEARCH IN PROGRESS

Advancing precision nutrition.

Two ongoing research initiatives connecting scientific investigation with the questions that matter for personalized nutrition.

Ongoing European project

NUTRIMMUNE

Nutrition, immunity and metabolic health.

A European collaboration investigating how precision nutrition can account for individual immune profiles. The project brings together clinical, immunology, nutrition and computational expertise.

Integrative Phenomics contributes in silico modelling and tools for delivering precision nutrition recommendations.

PINEAPPL

Understanding low-grade inflammation.

A French study exploring relationships between nutrition, lifestyle, the gut microbiome and inflammation. Its objective is to identify factors that could inform more personalized approaches to cardiometabolic prevention.

Led by the NutriOmics research team affiliated with Inserm, Sorbonne Université and AP-HP, with Integrative Phenomics as study sponsor.

These initiatives are ongoing. Research objectives are not completed findings or evidence of demonstrated outcomes for the Touva platform. Study information and participation are managed on the official project websites.

4. SELECTED PUBLICATIONS

A foundation in published research.

Selected peer-reviewed work listed in the Integrative Phenomics research library.

Each publication has its own research scope and limitations. These references provide scientific context; they do not, by themselves, establish the clinical effectiveness of every Touva application.

5. BUILDING EVIDENCE

Clear questions.
Transparent evidence.

Published knowledge

Trace scientific claims to their original research and methods.

Ongoing investigation

Keep study aims distinct from findings that have been reported.

Application-specific evaluation

Assess models and use cases in the populations and settings where they will be used.
